This Week's Reflection

 

I presume that you're beginning to warm to the idea that you create your own life.

 

This is a fact of life, either way. "Either way" means, whether you've taken charge of your state of mind or not, you are still creating your life.

 

If you're running on automatic, you're creating a life based on what you learned when you were a child - "stored knowledge" (the scientific name for the crap that's stored in our heads since our formative years) that only has a singularly unwanted impact on your life... it creates the ongoing sorry-go-'round that is normal existence.

 

If you are taking control of your state of mind, then you are creating a whole new reality which, for starters, is actually based in reality - the reality of the here and now.

 

If you allow your past rule (aka ruin) your current experience of life, you're a fool. Harsh but true. Decades of research confirm that the world is full of fools but, because there's so many of them, they suffer from a mass hallucination that fools them into thinking that being a fool isn't foolish!

 

Here are a couple of home truths.

 

You are the most important person in your life - you need to invest in yourself. Hence today's Quick Tip. You need to look after yourself first. If you don't, you're in no position to look after anyone else. You need to love yourself, as you are, unconditionally. If you don't you're in no position to love anyone else.

 

You need to do what it takes to experience how it feels to be present, in flow, in the here and now. Until you do, you cannot choose to be present and focused. And, if you're not present and focused, you're no good to either yourself or anyone else.

 

You need to take charge of your inner world. You are the only one who can. When you do, your outer world will change.

 

That'll do for now!

This week's Quick Tip is a slightly slower tip than usual! I would suggest - and that's all that I can actually do - that you watch this week's Video, listen to this week's Podcast and, then and only then, go back and listen to last week's Podcast and watch last week's Video.
