Mindfulness is deliberately paying an unusual amount of conscious attention to the here and now, non-judgementally. That’s what I call pure mindfulness.
You need to develop pure mindfulness so that you can then apply your focused mind to what you need to do in the here and now - that’s what I call applied mindfulness.
Applied mindfulness enables you do just what you need to do in the here and now to get you to where you want to go - here and now, today, this week, this year, in your life.
