“I have two goals, one of which is dependent on the other. Which goal should I focus on?” - a recent question from someone who watches my weekly free videos.
My answer was “Neither!” You cannot focus on your goals because they are in the future and focus is defined (even by any English Dictionary) as “paying attention to the present”.
You focus on what you’re doing now, knowing where you want to go. You “know” where you want to go by setting your subconscious or unconscious mind to achieve your goals so that you actually expect them to happen.
Your goals guide your focus. As a result, you focus on the right task in hand in the here and now.
