This Week's Reflection

 

It's a wonder that you're taking this breath, a wonder to be savoured and enjoyed. But don't think about it too much, just enjoy it, right here, right now.

 

We can tie ourselves in knots thinking about what we're looking for when we meditate, how it feels when we think that we've found it and, then, how we think we need to go looking for it again.

 

Again, we can get all caught up with the exhilaration of experiencing flow in something that we're doing to the point that we start thinking about how wonderful it is to be in flow and, thinking about it, we lose it. And then we think that we need to go looking for it again.

 

We end up trying to find what we think we need and, in the trying, miss the reality and, indeed, the wonder of this present moment - the moment that is, right now, all that you have.

 

Why don't we just let ourselves be because the minute we stop looking for it, the minute we stop trying to achieve it, the minute we stop craving it... it finds us - whatever it might be.

 

In other words, this applies to everything: flow, happiness, success, opportunity, synchronicity, all good things.

 

Stop thinking, stop trying, start living.

 

 

 

This Week's Quick Tip

 

The final sentence of this week's Reflection provides us with an insight into what we neeed, what you need to be doing right now. Right now, you simply need to be.

 

That means that you breathe, you notice how that feels and you let the feeling immerse you in the experience. You don't evaluate it, you don't appreciate it, you just let yourself be.

 

And, throughout the day today, you allow yourself notice and be - you don't have to stop to do this, you can do it in the midst of the most energetic tasks.
