This Week's Reflection

 

Are you good at doing things deliberately? Do you take action on purpose? Are you invested in what you've to do today like you mean it?

 

Or are you going through the motions or worse? Perhaps you're a procrastinator or, as we discussed a few weeks ago, you might be waiting for something to happen. Worse, you could be hoping for something to happen! If you don't know what I mean by that, this week's video explains.

 

Let's get back to that word "purpose" and let me put it in practical terms for your life today - I mean, actually today. Are you doing this on purpose? Or are you doing things because others expect it of you, pay you for it or, worse, you'd feel guilty if you didn't do what you're doing? We could create a whole video series on the "guilt" question!

 

Like focus, purpose is a now thing. You can't think about doing thins on purpose tomorrow, it's something about which you have to make a choice when the time comes. And this idea of You Purpose being something grand is just an idea that, I suspect, is planted in your head by the thinking mind to put you off pursuing your purpose! Seriously.

 

Your purpose is to do what you're doing now on purpose. Your purpose is to live this moment on purpose.

 

Nothing's guaranteed in this life, tomorrow's not promised. Nothing in your life is controllable except one, life-changing thing: how you control your own state of mind.

 

Take that control. Deliberately decide to live just this moment on purpose and see where that decision leads.
