This Week's Reflection

I don't need to take a guess at this, I know it for a fact: the majority of emails that I receive are about self-doubt.

Self-doubt comes in all shapes and sizes: Am I good enough? Do I deserve what's best for me? Can I say what needs to be said? Can I trust myself to make the right decision? And, no doubt, you've got your own very personal variation on this theme!

And, in each and every one of those emails that I receive, there is a fundamental misapprehension of who the "I" is.

Of course you can't trust your so-called Conceptual Self - they'll always see you wrong. Of course your Conceptual Self doesn't deserve all the very best - there is no Conceptual Self.

If you are harbouring any self-doubt, any self-doubt at all, know this: it is an illusion, a confidence trick played on you by your Conceptual Self, nothing more than the creation of your thinking mind. And, bear in mind, the thoughts that you are thinking, the thoughts that lead to this abberation, have no relevance whatsoever to today, this year or even the past couple of decades. These thoughts have nothing to do with what is happening now, nothing to do with who you really are.

And, just in case you're in any doubt as to who you really are, watch today's video.

This Week's Quick Tip

Be aware of the little thoughts that lead to self-doubt, bearing in mind that the initial thought on that toxic daisy-chain may be masquarading as a positive thought!

Be aware to the point that you can cry "Halt" the moment that this toxicity starts seeping into your being in the moment.

And, depending on where you are and who's around, you can always shout "Halt" at the top of your voice.
