This Week's Reflection

 

Our thinking mind will always question our best intentions: ah yeah, you might intend to do this or achieve that but do you reall think that little-old-you could actually do that?

 

And, even if things are flowing for you, the thinking mind will pester you with the "what ifs" of foreboding and doom: if things are going well, you're on the verge of failing; pride comes before a fall or, my Grannie's favourite... all laughing comes to crying!

 

So how can we avoid all this self-defeating noise? Wrong question!

 

To ensure that you have your receiver up and running - you need to watch today's video to know what I'm talking about - all we need to do is let ourselves be. I mean that literally.

 

All we have to do is, well, what is suggested in this week's Quick Tip.

 

When we're "in the moment", we don't need to fight back those aforementioned thoughts - the thoughts simply are now. In flow, we are without thinking - we just are: doing whatever we're doing, experiencing what our senses are telling us. In a clear and present state, we experience a very different us: free of thought, without a care in the world.

 

And, for now, that's all that's required.

 

 

 

This Week's Quick Tip

 

Put your heart and soul into what you're doing, one task at a time, today. To quote an Online Program Owner, allow yourself to be "transfixed" in and by the moment.

 

Immerse yourself by choosing to be aware of hwo what you're doing feels, smells, tastes, sounds and looks. That might sound a little mechanical so let me put it another way... let your senses overwhelm you.

 

Immersion in the present moment is the gateway to all good things or, better again, all the best.
