This Week's Reflection

Today's video explores Flow from a variety of perspectives. Firstly, there is the psychological state of Flow, where we are so focused that we are completely immersed in what we are doing to the exclusion of thought and, in particular, to the exclusion of self-referential though or, in other words, how we think of ourselves and our capabilities or the lack of them.

This is an extensively researched and well documented state of being - not just a state of mind. It has a variety of implications, all positive, for our experience of the moment: there is a deep satisfaction experienced in and as part of Flow; the is an altered perception of time - the old adage that time flies when you're having fun is only half the story... time bends when you're in Flow, time is a relative perception of the flow of moments.

Even the normalest, craziest person has experienced the warping of time: two weeks' holidays fly yet some of the days of those holidays seem to last an eternity. Time has nothing to do with the ticking of the clock, it is, in effect, the measure of our state of mind.

But, this week, we explore Flow from a completely different perspective, far beyond the Flow Research itself. We explore the universal flow of energy and how, when we are in the psychological state of Flow, our energetic flow is syncronised with universal flow, actually at an electro-magnetic level.

It is blindingly logical that synchronised energy leads to synchronicity. Just as it is blindingly obvious that a normally-minded person cannot experience synchronicity - you have to be in Flow to experience synchronistic flow.

That said, as we said above, even a normal crazy person sometimes experience the warping of time. However - and this is a very big however indeed - a normally-minded person can neither choose to be in or experience Flow.

Regular meditation gives us the ability to make this choice. That, amongst many other benefits, is one of the key reasons that we need to meditate regularly.

This Week's Quick Tip

Reflect on your past! No, I don't mean that you go back and attempt to revisit your formative years! People who sit down with a psychoanalyst to do that end up reliving it! And that makes matters worse.

No - I'm, suggesting that you reflect on incidences in your life when you experienced synchronicity. We all have: meeting someone who changed the course of your life, stumbling across the right piece of information at the right time or actually being the right person in the right place at the time. It happens.

And I'd like you to think about when it has happened you. Why? It will confirm to you that synchronicity is real.

Now, imagine if you could turn synchronicity on like a tap? No need to imagine, just click to explore today's Once-Off 50% Off Special Offer for lifetime access to The Psychology of Success Online Program.
