THE MIND BOGGLES!! |
Change Your Life | February 1 2024 No. 846 |
As I mention in this week's Podcast, I am celebrating 28 years in business today, February 1st. What's my busines? The business of living life to the full!
And, as you will, like everyone else, appreciate, those twenty eight years have not always been plain sailing - life's not plain sailing, curved balls fly in all directions. But does riding life's waves require effort, not when you've got your hand on the controls! When you're in charge, everything is effortless.
Not just that, you learn, over time, the more you travel this adventure, that being in charge leads to trusting yourself - obviously, not the person that you though you were, the person that you discover when you are in charge.
It all boils down to being in charge of that amazingly powerful piece of equipment between your own two ears. Allowed to operate unimpeded by your own thoughts, it will work wonders for you, effortlessly; it will enable the free-flow of energy through your energy system - your healthy mind will lead to a healhty body; it will enable you "be there" for those you love - a corny expression often used by people who don't know what it actually means.
Being there - or being here - simply means being present or, to put it more bluntly, turning up to your own life! A quick listen to this week's Podcast elaborates on this. Being there means that you're a player - you're in charge of the moment, in "control of your emotions", able to act - so different from reacting. Being here changes everything.
Here - and now - is where the action of your life is taking place.
Take a couple of moments to look around you, to notice that, for starters, you're breathing in and out, you are alive today.
Don't just notice, feel the moment, be aware of what you feel and how you feel.
Appreciate the moment, you'll never have this moment again. Live the moment like you mean it... this is your life.
