This Week's Reflection

 

Synchronicity will never happen in your life until you have at least gone some way in implementing what I have long described as what Online Program Owners would immediately know as the famous Two-Piece Jigsaw.

 

Piece #1: You must - it is imperative - become practiced in the effortless art of turning up to your own life in the here and now. You must daily tune in your mind to the wavelength on which life is actually happening - that's neither a metaphor nor an analogy - it's simply scientific fact.

 

Piece #2: You must have a sense or intention of why you're tuning in: in what direction would you love oyur life to flow? What kind of experiences would you love to have more and more of in your daily life? What does happiness and peace of mind mean for you?

 

Until you take these steps, you will not experience synchronicity. If you only take Step #1, you will experience opportunity but opportunity, which flows in everyday abundance, will mean nothing to that gut instinct that we explore last week.

 

You see, synchronicity is an interpretation - a very personal interpretation - of opportunity. This interpretation is unlike our normal cognitive appraisal of what we think is going on, this interpretation happens at an intuitive level.

 

If our gut or intuition hasn't been primed by what we would love to experience in life, we won't recognise the opportunities that cross our daily lives for the synchronistic signposts that they otherwise will be.

This Week's Quick Tip

 

Allow yourself be free of negative thought. When you find yourself stalled by thought, allow yourself, firstly, a moment of realisation: 'I am not stuck, I only think that I am stuck'.

 

Allow yourself a moment of appreciation: be grateful for your own realisation and appreciate yourself and how far you have already travelled (most people will never even get to step one - realisation).

 

Allow yourself a few moments to be - being in the moment frees us from thought and, the more you do it, the more it becomes your "new normal".
