The natural world is full of vortices of one sort or another. These are naturally occurring phenomena. But the vortex that you're most likely to be sucked down is entirely unnatural... and you create it.

 

 

 

 

This Week's Reflection

 

So many people with whom I talk simply don't get the fact that they are creators. If they did, my inbox would be much lighter and only filled with messages confirming that the writers have created a life desired.

 

Let me put it another way. Regardless of whether or not you are in control of your own state of mind, your own state of mind, driven by your thoughts, creates your experience of life, your actual reality.

 

So, when I receive emails about loneliness, frustration, annoyance, anger, want, lack, worry, fear, stress... you name it, the list is, sadly, pretty endless, I am hearing from people who have created this undesirable existence all on their own. They are the epitome of the so-called "self-made woman" or "self-made man".

 

Why would you do that to yourself? Well, the first answer's an obvious one: because you do not know that you're doing it. This answer covers approximately 96% of the population - people who are unaware that they are unaware!

 

 

The second answer is far more disturbing: people continue to do this to themselves even though they know that they're doing it to themselves. These people account for the majority of people who will read these words this week. And that is awful.

 

I talked about what I described as "Toe-Dippers" in last week's podcast - and got a little abuse for it. That's OK - it goes with the territory. What's not OK is that people would turn on someone for pointing out the bleedin' obvious!

 

Your life is (almost) entirely in your own hands. With every passing moment, you create your experience of every passing moment. Isn't it time to create a life desired?

 

 

 

This Week's Quick Tip

 

Stop! Ask yourself "How Do I Feel Right Now?"

 

You might notice some physical sensations - your body is providing you with these all of the time. You might notice some emotional sensations, which, when we're properly tuned in, will actually manifest as a physical sensation.

 

Regardless of what you feel or how you feel, stopping and asking yourself the question is an exercise in self-awareness and an important step on today's journey.
