THE MIND BOGGLES!! |
Change Your Life | May 4 2023 No. 807 |
Feeling all blocked up? No, this is not an advert for some pills for a blocked nose... today's video explores a far more fundamental danger to your health.
Even a normal crazy person will be struck, once-in-a-while, by an actual bodily feeling that they're flowing or stuck - the opposite ends of the spectrum on which we experience our lives... or not!
Even normal crazy people have - and regularly use everyday - expressions that describe the physical experience: "a lump in my throat"; "butterflies in my stomach"; "I feel like I'm walking on air".
All these common parlance phrases provide insight into a fundamental truth - that when we're not flowing mentally, we're not flowing physically.
Let's put it another way... a mind that is ill-at-ease creates a diseased body. Pure and simple. Well researched. Decades of evidence.
When we talk, as we often do, about how we create our own reality, this starts with the reality with which our body presents us: colds, flu and viruses because our immune system is compromised by a stressed mind; indigestion, all the way to irritable bowel syndrome because our digestive system is out of what because of, well, an out of whack mind.
Cancer and coronary disease as a result of chronic stress.
All, almost exclusively (we have to factor genetive predispositions into the equation), is self-inflicted. A body's energy blocked by mentally-created fatbergs.
To quote deMello: "Wake Up", "Wake Up", "Wake Up". As this week's Podcast puts it, are you an adventurer or a toe-dipper?
Today or in the coming days, set aside 15mins or so to sit and watch the world go by.
You could do this on your coffee break or whilst having your lunch, as long as you do it on your own - there are enough distractions in our own heads without piling on others' distractions!
Don't judge, don't think, don't try to figure out what's happening in the world going by, just notice, just observe.
Who knows, you might even develop a little more awareness.
