THE MIND BOGGLES!!

It's awfully bloody difficult to hit a moving target! And, yet, that's what most people are trying to do most of the time... cultivate your clarity of mind, let that clarity set the outcomes for you.

 

 

 

 

This Week's Reflection

 

If you look at the range of advice provided, from this week's Video to my Podcast, you will appreciate that cultivating the right state of mind and appropriate singlemindedness is a full time job!

Or, as so many Program Owners say to me, it's a "lifestyle choice".

And isn't that what we're talking about - creating the kind of life that you want.

So, what kind of life do you want? What kind of lifestyle do you want? As you'll gather from this week's Video, this can be difficult to pin down if we're coming off an adult lifetime's habit of using our thinking mind to frame our goals and objectives. Our thinking adulterates our clarity of purpose.

Or, to put it another way, we're back to the fabled Two-Piece Jigsaw: clear your mind (day and night as this week's Podcast highlights) and, as you mind clears, the kind of life and lifestyle that you want becomes ever clearer too.

But the other thing about that "lifestyle choice" that people keep telling me is that this is a process. How many times over the last couple of years have I heard people say to me "Follow the Process". That has all kinds of implications: for most people nothing grand happens overnight (I said "for most people" - grand things happen for some, akin to being struck by lightning!); daily action is required (toe-dipping will get you nowhere fast - this, of course, is only partly true because every time we meditate we enhance the neural pathways necessary to enjoy life to the full); a degree of trust in the process is, therefore, required - but that's OK because, the more you clear you mind, the more you experience that you can trust yourself.

As always, this is a call to action (a whole different ballgame to normal crazy reaction). So, with that in mind, how have you set yourself up for today?

 

 

 

This Week's Quick Tip

 

Trust the process. Today, meditate in the morning - if you haven't done that, stop and do it now, don't wait ultil tomorrow.

As the day unfolds, mini-meditate - believe you me, we all need to keep ourselves on our toes.

And, as the day draws to a close, recapitulate - this week's Podcast explains in detail.

And trust yourself to trust the process.
