This Week's Reflection

 

The average (normal crazy) human mind is designed to enable you do just what you need to do to get you to exactly where you want to go, when confronted by dire life-threatening circumstances. That is how the normal mind works. And, you'll note that, in such dire circumstance, there is no thinking involved... think and you're dead!

Actually, that says it all, doesn't it... think and you're dead. For, when we think, we're as good as dead, we're surviving on auto, not living and, certainly, not living up to our true potential.

But you can live up to your unlimited potential by unleashing that part of your mind that is adept at enabling you do just what you need to do to get to where you want to go - in any or, indeed, every situation. All that is required is that you stop thinking!

You don't stop thinking by deciding to stop it. Indeed, deciding to quit thinking is akin to deciding to quit cigarettes - all you end up thinking about is... cigarettes!

You stop thinking by being - that's done through meditation - meditation is the methodology that opens the door to being. And, when you are simply present, you simply do the necessary (nothing more) and you do it effortlessly.

But it's even easier than that: meditation restructures the brain's key subcortical components to enable them do what they would normally only do in dire circumstances, in any or all circumstances - seeking out both opportunity and threat in the proper balance. And your doing brain just does it as a result of being restructured.

There's only one other thing that you need to do then: point your doing brain in the right direction - that's what this morning's video picks up on.

 

 

 

This Week's Quick Tip

 

We're back to "reality" (not really!) after the Christmas break and, even now, this first Thursday of 2023, you're probably feeling the heat!

There is, of course, no "heat", just the rough and tumble of the here and now. And, in that rough and tumble, let yourself do what's right (nothing else). Let yourself be.

To achieive that right now... stop, close your eyes, take a couple of deep breaths, fill your lungs and pause, empty your lungs and pause and just be for a couple of moments. Steady the ship!
