This Week's Reflection

It's kind of conventional wisdom (whatever that actually means!) that life's complicated. We have all kinds of sayings to encapsulate that view in normal everyday language - none of which is worth repeating, obviously!

But life is horribly simple. Well, actually, it's amazingly simple. What you put in, you get out. When you invest your energy in the here and now, the big grand energetic universe responds. All we have to do is turn up.

That simple message is right at the heart of this week's video - there aren't multiple hurdles to be jumped in life's great race (it's a stroll, actually), life is not an obstacle course, everyday challenges are there to enable us rise above them effortlessly.

Jump one hurdle and you've jumped them all. Yes, it is that simple.

And, you know, even the idea of "jumping" suggests that you need to push yourself into some form of unsavoury action that will thrust you outside your comfort zone, put you out on a limb. Nothing could be further from the truth.

For, if you know how to breathe - and, by the way, that comes naturally! - you know how to leap the hurdle.

Go on... take that leap.

This Week's Quick Tip

We take giant leaps by regularly taking little steps, steps in which we put our best foot forward.

Do that today. Do it immediately after reading this. Do it now.

Go out for a stroll and feel how it feels when you put one foot in front of the other. Seriously. Feel your foot in your shoe, one foot, one step at a time. Feel your footwear connect with the pavement, one step at a time.

We put our best foot forward when we're aware of the experience of the moment in which we put one foot in front of the other.

And add up those baby steps and what have you got? A quantum leap.
