Pick one thing - just one thing - that you've been putting off or long-fingering. Just go and do it... now.
Or... stop doing something you want to stop doing but you've been putting it off. Just go and stop doing it... now.
We all get stuck but the more we let ourselves stay stuck, the less our lives move forward. And, if you've not moving forward, you're not living.

You've got to do what you've got to do. Otherwise, you're not going to get to where you want to go. Sometimes we put things off because we're afraid (a useless thought!) or waiting for the right moment (the right moment is when you do what you've got to do!) or we worry about what others might think of us (one of the most useless thoughts of all... others are too busy worrying about what you think of them!).
But then along come loads of books that tell you all you've got to do is visualize what you want and it will materialize. Or write it down as if you already have it and... voila! No, you've still go to do what you've got to do. Otherwise, you could win the Lotto without bothering to buy a ticket!
We're not good at doing life-changing stuff beacuse it takes us outside our comfort zone and there are thousands of niggling little voices in our heads (actually it's just the one voice saying the same thing thousands of different ways!) that tell us "no you can't". And, so, one day becomes the next and the next... and then you'll die.
Notice, I didnd't put and exclamation mark at the end of the last sentence, because it's neither a joke nor some kind of flippant remark, it's a statement of fact. Pure and simple. You've one shot at living (a totally different proposition than existing) and that shot is now... not when the time is right, not when I'm fitter, lighter or more confident... NOW.
We live in an age of Smart Phones, Smart TVs and connected appliances... I still chuckle at the technology that enables you look at the contents of your fridge in real-time while you're shopping! But, clearly, the people who make them aren't all that smart.
If they were, my new Smart TV would, like my old TV, know that my DVD player (I know, I'm very old-fashioned!) is a DVD player... not an unidentified HDMI input!
But, what about Siri - Apple's all-knowledgable personal assistant, at your side when you need him or her most? In an emergency, I was scrambling for the torch on my iPhone and couldn't find it. I searched "Torch" on the phone only to be told that it is a large stick with a combustible end than can be lit to provide light! Smart-ass more like!!
